#BoIR : Convenience Store Woman
For our second #BoIR, I am going to share about this pink, thin book but the message left me with BAAAMMM!
"Convenience Store Woman" is Sayaka Murata's first novel that being translated to English. That made me think, woahh how cool is this book that it can be sold out of Japan's market!
This book is actually come up with 3 different colours for the cover : pink, blue and yellow. When I first lay my eyes on this book, I am confused with these different colours.
I thought different colours will bring different stories, but after holding those 3 colours in my hand, I can assure that the story is the same. So no worries guys with the colours, it is just like buying different notebook.
For the contents, Murata has arranged the plot that really feel like a reality. Everytime Furukara being so energized when serving the customers that comes to the convenience store, I also feel energized to do my work.
In my perspective, reading Convenience Store Woman has taught me to listen to my heart way wayyy much more than people's opinion. Because at the end, the one who feel the enjoyment or the suffering from the career that we spend our half life in there is US.
As long as we feel that we have benefited others and benefited ourselves, that is superbly good already!
If you want to have a copy of this book, you may purchase it at Popular | Kinokuniya | MPH | Borders
